Former Grayson High Football Player Competing in Seahawks, Broncos Super Bowl Game

Quanterus Smith is a defensive end playing for the Denver Broncos.

Grayson High graduate Quanterus Smith will be playing in the 2014 Super Bowl next month. 

Smith is a defensive end for the Denver Broncos. According to the Broncos website, the 6-foot-5-inch, 255-pound 24-year-old earned first-team all-county honors and second-team All-Class 8-AAAAA accolades as a senior at Grayson. 

After he graduated from the high school in 2008, Smith went to Western Kentucky. In 2012, he was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year. He suffered an ACL tear toward the end of his career at Western Kentucky, but was selected for Denver in the 2013 NFL Draft.
