Qualifying Week Starts Monday for Loganville's November Election

The mayor's seat and three council seats will be open.

Qualifying week is this week for the Loganville City Council, and four seats are on the ballot.

Three of those seats are the ones currently held by councilmembers Michelle Lynch, Mark Kiddoo and Rey Martinez.

The fourth seat is for the mayor. Current Mayor Dan Curry was elected only this past June after the late Mayor Ray Nunley resigned in March, but Curry will have to run again in November in order to have a full four-year term.

Qualifications start Monday (Aug. 26) and ends Wednesday (Aug. 28) between 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Loganville City Hall, located at 4385 Pecan St.
