Promoting the "Craft" in Craft Brews
October 5th - 2-6pm - Grayson City Park
Craft Beer Lovers are in for a TREAT!
The Brewer's Association defines the American craft brewer as "small, independent and traditional." The small is defined in the number of barrels produced each year, independent refers to the ownership, and traditional is a "brewer who has either an all malt flagship (the beer which represents the greatest volume among that brewers brands) or has at least 50% of its volume in either all malt beers or in beers which use adjuncts to enhance rather than lighten flavor."Yeah. All that.
We spent some time at Red Hare Brewing and Monday Night Brewing to find out how their spectacular brews came about ... and the challenges that go along with that. You can check that out here.
Georgia has seen a growth in it's legacy of craft brewers in the last few years and the Grayson Blues and Brews will showcase some of our newest breweries as well as some of our all-time favorites. We're also bringing you some of the nation's highest acclaimed craft beers ... and a few with some international recognition.
Our list is still growing, so there are sure to be a few surprises on Saturday, October 5! It will be an afternoon of great music provided by Stephen Hendrix and Friends with our headliner act, the Sonny Moorman Group. Get your tickets at www.grayson-bluesandbrews.com or locally at the Hail Mary Pub, Johnny's Pizza of Grayson, or the Beverage Superstore of Grayson.
Sponsored by Goose Island and hosted by the Grayson Downtown Development Authority, the 4th Annual Grayson Blues & Brews will bring you the following brands and brews:
