Rivals Hot Dogs is Back in Loganville

Rivals closed in 2011 after a change in management didn't work out for owner, Chuck Sasser. But that was then - Rivals is now open at a new location, but still in the Loganville area.

Rivals Hot Dogs was the big story at the beginning of 2011. After almost not making it in 2010, the community rallied and ensured that on Jan. 1, 2011, Rivals Hot Dogs stayed open. Unfortunately, due to health issues, owner Charles "Chuck" Sasser had to put it under new management for a while, and that didn't work out.Β

But things are different now and Sasser has managed to revive his dream, opening last week at a new location. The restaurant, with its famous hot dogs and Sloppy Joes, can be found at the corner of Highway 20 and Miller Bottom Road in the Loganville area of unincorporated Gwinnett.

Like the restaurant on Facebook and drop in for another taste of one of those famous hot dogs.Β
