Salad Bars Donated to Local Schools
Couch Middle School is one of the four schools that will receive a salad bar donated by the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation.
The Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation has donated four salad bars to four Gwinnett County Public Schools to help enhance the meal options available to students. This gesture is part of the organization's "Let's Move Salad Bars to Schools" effort. Currently the organization had provided salad bars to fifteen Georgia Schools including four from Gwinnett: Knight Elementary, Berkmar Middle, Couch Middle and Buice School. In all, the program has awarded salad bars to over 1,200 schools across the country. The "Let's Move Salad Bars to Schools" is a national effort to increase the quantity and selection of fruit and vegetables in school lunchrooms.
