Flood Watch Issued for Gwinnett and Walton
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the next two days for several counties in Georgia, including Gwinnett and Walton. The watch is in effect until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
he National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for much of north and portions of central Georgia, including Walton and Gwinnett counties, from 1 p.m. today until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013. This replaces the Flash Flood that was in force until 1 p.m. today. This area is mainly along and south of a line from Cedartown to Alpharetta to Athens. The Alert reads, in part. * MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD ACROSS PARTS OF NORTH AND MOST OF CENTRAL GEORGIA THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY. SINCE SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
