Viewfinder: 'A Country Christmas' Parade in Loganville

Main Street Loganville was lit with festive lights of the Christmas Season for the annual Christmas Parade Saturday.

It was truly Christmas in Loganville again for Saturday's "Country Christmas" Parade. An hour-long parade of little smiling faces, music, lights, floats, dancers and even horses graced Main Street Loganville for the annual Christmas Parade. Grand Marshal, rising country singer Jordan Rager was up at the front of the parade, followed by Loganville Mayor Ray Nunley and other city officials. Antique cars and tractors followed and, as is customary - and for obvious reasons - horses and ponies dressed in all their Christmas finery were kept for nearer the end. The entry fee was a simple canned donation for each parade participant to the Shepherd's Staff. If you still have canned goods to drop off, collection locations are listed on the website…

Loganville Gears Up for 2012 Christmas Parade

The parade down Main Street, Loganville, begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.

City streets are decorated, the Christmas Tree lights are on, the only thing left to usher in the 2012 Christmas Season in Loganville is the annual Christmas Parade. The City of Loganville is inviting residents to join them in "A Country Christmas" parade. The festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, as the city welcomes parade participants down Main Street in Loganville. The theme for this year's parade of lights is "A Country Christmas" with Jordan Rager, Loganville's own rising country music star star, serving as Grand Marshal.
