Gwinnett County Police Department confirm that Kristin Carter Barr and Tara Ray Ritter, both of 3215 Wrenwood Court, Loganville, were arrested on April 30 and charged with 2nd degree forgery. According to the GCPD incident report, members of the Gwinnett County Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at the address in Loganville. During the search, methamphetamine residue allegedly was located as well as counterfeit currency and the materials used to produce counterfeit currency. GCPD public information officer, Cpl. Jake Smith, said the investigation is ongoing. He said it is part of a drug investigation, not a larger forgery or fraud investigation. Ritter bonded out the following day on $5,700 bond, but Barr remains in Gwinnett County …

Leah Tamara Waller, of 3668 Range Way, Loganville, was charged on May 1 with exploitation of disabled adult. These charges were filed as a result of an investigation following her arrest on April 25 for cruelty to animals. According to the incident report from Gwinnett County Police Department, an animal control officer responded to a complaint from a neighbor about the condition of the house. It was reported that the inside of the home was covered in animal feces "inches" thick. When they were able to get hold of Waller, she allegedly told them she was at the hospital with her 19-year-old disabled son, but no such patient could be located at any area hospital. A Grayson man was arrested and charged with public indecency after he was allegedly observed performing a sex act on himself in his car in the parking lot of Sugarloaf Mills. According to the police report from the Gwinnett County Police Department, his actions were observed by two officers monitoring security cameras while working security at the mall. Officers reported that when they approached the car, the man was still in a state of undress. He is reported to have asked officers to take his phone and call his wife to have her pick up his car.
