Walton County Coroner Richard Jenkins Resigns
Resignation effective as of noon today.
Walton County officials have confirmed that Richard Jenkins resigned his position as the new Walton County Coroner today. Jenkins, who beat incumbent coroner Joseph Page in a run off election in August, served only 2 days in the office. Probate Judge Bruce Wright is handling the appointment of an interim coroner. We will update this as information is made available.
