According to the notice, there will be a visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. March 29 at Meadows Funeral Home, 760 Highway 11 SE, Monroe. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. March 30 at St. Anna’s Catholic Church, 836 East Spring St., Monroe. Condolences continue to pour in for the popular pediatrician who has practiced in the Loganville area since 1997.

Even students at rival Archer remembered the Black Knight.
The gym at Central Gwinnett High School was packed Tuesday night. Not just because the Black Knights were playing cross-town rival Archer Tigers, but to remember Jerry Coleman. Just one year ago, Coleman was on that same basketball court dunking over opponents. Now the Central Gwinnett community honored him before the start of the boys basketball game. Coleman passed away in December at age 19. The Kennesaw State student had undergone surgery to remove his wisdom teeth just days before he died. Central Gwinnett boys basketball coach David Allen told the crowd about what a wonderful player Coleman was. Principal Nancy Martin remarked how he was a remarkable student.
