I have never removed my children from a pediatricians office due to being dissatisfied with the service.... until now! My son was born and I scheduled the newborn visit with them and saw the doctor about 2 weeks after getting out of the hospital. This visit was rushed and I didn't feel like Dr. Lameda cared at all how he was doing. She barely asked any questions. After waiting one hour to be seen I was disappointed that she could not give us more than 5 minutes. They did not give him any shots then (knowing he did not get Hep B in the hospital). The next appointment they wanted to schedule was not until 2 months old (previous doctors for my older children saw them at 1 month). Then when it was the week of the 2 month appointment the office called to reschedule since Dr. Lameda would be out of the office. I said fine and the earliest available appointment was over two weeks after the first attempt. When we tried to go to the 2 month appointment again (with an almost 3 month old) the office had not bothered to reopen from lunch. Appointment was scheduled for 2:00 and sign on door said office reopens at 1:30 from lunch. I waited until 2:15 before giving up. There was a number of other people waiting in the parking lot. I have never seen such poor customer service and lack of care. My baby needs his immunizations even if they don't care. They are more interested in making money than in making sure they can handle the capacity of patients they see/schedule.
