This place does not welcome men, women, or children of any golf skill level...very unfriendly. My husband & I both play golf, so we like to teach our kids proper swing techniques. We have been going to this place for several years & it is ALWAYS the same lecture, same rude responses, & simply awful. While trying to help my daughter loosen up and stretch out, I was instructed that I had to stand on the turf mat. Fine, we did that. The employee (he claimed he was part time) then stood their & stared at us like I was going to break another rule at any second. I asked him if he needed something. He replied that I was not allowed to stand near her & that I had to sit on the bench (keep in mind their sign says that KIDS must sit on the bench while PARENTS are swinging). I told him that we were aware of the rules & that we would follow them. However, I was just trying to help my experienced golfer daughter set up. He did not leave. He then gave an unfriendly glance at my 9 year old & said, "I can stand here ALLLLLLL day." At this point my husband walked up. The ridiculous continued with my husband trying hard not to laugh at the crazy attitude of this man. He offered to give us our money back if we had a problem with him. At this point, my daughter was almost crying. We stayed & explained to her that some people are just crabby. Meanwhile, we were visited many more times as we practiced. PLEASE save yourself the frustration & don't go here, we won't.

it is sprinkling, only one kid getting lessons is allowed under the cover, we paid anyway. I took my 13 year old son to practice and was going over the basics before we started since it has been so long since he has played. The old gentleman came out and said I wasn't allowed to coach my son here, gave me my money back and ask us to leave. IF I were holding up a line for the space, or getting paid to instruct someone i understand SOMEWHAT.... but no one else was here waiting and I am his dad for goodness sake. WORST customer service in history. Since when can a dad not go to a driving range and have a father and son time learning about the game of GOLF. We will never give him the opportunity to earn our money again.

If you have an autistic child or adult they are not welcome at this establishment. My dad found out the hard way. And on what day of all days..Autism Awareness Day. He was asked not to bring my brother back. My brother, Christopher, is severely autistic. As part of autism he has “quirks”. He likes to do circles and as he does them he hums, usually fairly low volume. But sometimes he laughs or says something loudly when he is reminded of it. (At least that’s what we think, he doesn't converse so we are left to interpret for ourselves.) My dad took him to the end of the range to hit a bucket of balls with my other younger brother. He was away from everyone else. I've taken lessons at the range. So conversation happens. You can’t tell me his humming threw someone’s swing off! If so, he needs to practice more and get used to it! Tolerance, people. Where did it go? Anyway, since we all know someone with autism (1 in 50) I thought I would warn you to stay away from Grayson Golf Center. You are definitely welcome at Bear Creek in Monroe, Cedar Lake in Loganville and Little Mountain in Lithonia.

My wife had expressed interest in getting into golf but had very little experience with the sport. We packed up the car and headed to Grayson Golf Center for some quality time. As we got set up on the furthest spots from any other golfers I began to help my wife with her stance and swing. Just as she hit the first few balls I noticed the cashier headed our way and he was walking with a purpose. Obviously I did not realize we were practicing under the watchful eye of the golf Nazi. He proceeded to tell me I could not instruct/teach at this facility. I tried to explain I was not a instructor and this is my wife. He was having none of it and immediately offered me my money back. He even had the exact same bills I had just given him folded and was carrying them in his hand. As I expressed my displeasure with his reaction to me helping my wife I spun around to grab my bag and he flinched like I was going to strike him. I would never strike an elderly person and found that somewhat disturbing. It is my opinion the employees at Grayson Golf Center have a bitter view towards there customers and an overall distaste for what they. Their customer relations needs serious work and they need to lighten up. I have since spoken with several golfing buddies as well as another driving range and it seems to me they have mistreated other people in the same manner. If you enjoy relaxing stress free golf and have an overall good outlook on life I would not recommend visiting Grayson Golf Center.

My son just turned 14 and got his first set of clubs and he has been bugging me so we went today to hit a bucket of balls. My son has very little experience so being a helpful father I was instructing him quietly on proper stance and form. Now keep in mind that there were only two other golfers, one was 100 ft away and the other was a nice older man about 30 ft away. As I saw the owner approach I turned knowing I did something wrong as he only comes out when there is a issue. He stated to me that I could not do any coaching because its against the rules and interrupts other golfers. I respectively asked the older man/owner that I needed to help him because he is new to the game and how is he suppose to know what to do without some type of instruction. He only told me that I could not do it. After finishing up I went in to turn the basket in and I asked him what was the problem with me trying to help him. He told me that those are the rules and that he did not build the facility to coach people. I told him that this was not customer service and you can not treat people like this and he told me again I did not build this place for you to coach out there and pointed at the door for me to leave. I asked him, is my money not good enough and he then countiuned to point at the door. I told him that I guess my money does not matter and told him I would never return. He said he didn't care. I did leave with telling him the reviews I have read about this place are 100% accurate.

This golf center is operating in the 1900 in regards to ethics and customer service. I took my son to play there today only to get harassed by the owner/manager for allegedly taking a swing one step off the tee box. I was also told that no training is allowed and drilled on this procedure because I had my 10 yr old son with me. Yet we observed several players feet away from me coaching and training their kids. Please reconsider using this very unprofessional organization for any of your golfing experience.

This is probably the most customer unfriendly golf facility I have ever utilized. Cash only, no checks or credit card, and a staff that goes out of the way to run you off. I have two boys that are decent golfers, but no longer take them here due to the fact that they hoover around them waiting to intimidate them about anything. Today, the day that broke the camels back. I am 47 years old and carry about a 15 handicap and was reprimanded by the staff for moving my club while not on the mat. Note, I have stepped back while trying to see if I want to hit another bucket and am wiggling my club in front of me. A 4 inch back swing! and there are only two other golfers at the facility 20 yds+ away. Needless to say I didn t buy that extra bucket. I have been here +/- 20 times and have never seen the putting green open. Maybe the reason that on a 82 degree Saturday afternoon in May and there are only 2 other golfers here has something to do with this. But what do I know.Only been in customer service for 25 years. Pretty sure I am not ever going back....
