Loganville Working Hard to Get Ahead on Winter Storm Impact
"We urge all citizens to remain off the roads unless of an extreme emergency."
The City of Loganville has been updating residents via social media during the winter storm, including announcements of closings and road conditions.
There also were some shout-outs for the work of city employees in keeping residents safe, including this Facebook post:
"We are so thankful for the men and women that work hard to keep our City safe during emergency situations. Our Public Works Department is prepared to help clear roads and streets as necessary or clear fallen trees. Our Water Department is also prepared to keep water flowing to all our residents. These employees are some of the hardest working and least recognized employees in the City. We are proud of each one of them and their service to our City."
