A Community in Need - Let Us Help

It’s been a tough few years for many and no time is the impact of a struggling economy more evident than during the Holidays. This is also the time people who are lonely feel it more, people who suffer from depression find even less to be happy about and soldiers overseas and their families left behind feel the separation so much more.

The good news in all of this is that this is also the time when churches and other community organizations pull out all the stops to try and get help to those in need. The Christmas season is a time when compassion is in a much greater supply.

Here at Patch in Gwinnett County we would like to help connect those in need with those who can help. We are asking organizations in each community to share with their local Patch what help they are offering and how people can go about getting it. Patch can also be used to call for volunteers who might be required to fulfill the services that are needed.
