Roddy White of Atlanta Falcons Arrested on Traffic Warrant in Gwinnett

The Atlanta football player was reportedly sought for failing to appear in court on a citation for having non-transparent material on his vehicle's windows.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Sharod "Roddy" White, 32, was arrested Tuesday morning on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge, reports WSB TV.

White was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail with bond set at $168; he was released later in the morning after posting bond. He was arrested by a Gwinnett County police officer.

According to the jail docket book, White is listed as a Braselton resident.

The warrant was for a traffic-related offense in Dacula, WSB reported.

The football team posted this brief statement on its website: “We are aware of the incident involving Roddy White. We anticipate this will be resolved shortly and we will have no further comment at this time.”
