Let Patch take you out to a Gwinnett Braves game at Coolray Field.

Baseball is America’s pastime. And now Loganville-Grayson Patch is giving you and your family or friends a chance to join us at the ballpark to watch the Gwinnett Braves take on the Charlotte Knights. You could win a Family Four Pack of tickets to the game on Friday, June 1st at 7:05 p.m. at  in Lawrenceville.

Entering is easy. Just scroll down and comment on this article by Tuesday, May 8th at 6 p.m. telling us why you love baseball or going to ballgames. We’ll randomly choose a winner from the comments.

All nine of the Gwinnett Patches are participating, so visit your neighbor sites and enter on each site. Each Patch will choose a winner, but you can only win one set of tickets.

Now, Play Ball!

It is a great way to bond with your kids, and eat overpriced (but yummy) food :) Also the G Braves are so interactive with the kids and the seats are fantastic! Way better than driving all the way to Atlanta!

We would love to take our son to his VERY FIRST Braves game. He is a baseball player himself in Grayson and is about to start traveling to play for the East Atlanta Braves so I know he would love every second!! Katharine Page

Baseball affords us the opportunity to dream and fulfill dreams. A lot of children dream of getting a baseball glove. Going to a game allows more dreams. The young dream of the future. Adults dream of days past. The players dream of winning.

Take us out to the ballgame, take us out to the crowd. We'll buy peanuts and cracker jacks, we don't care if we ever come back! Go Gbraves!!

My family loves baseball. My two boys play the game all the time even when it is not baseball season and its the best way to spend quality time with the family.

My dad got all four of the kids in my family interested in Chicago Cubs baseball back in the mid-60s to mid-70s when I was growing up in northern Illinois. My sister and I would cheer the "line-up" when they had the greats like Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Fergie Jenkins, Billy Williams, etc. After moving to Georgia in 1979, I added the Atlanta Braves to my list of baseball teams that I liked to watch. My husband and his dad were at the game when Hank Aaron hit home run #755, and I was with my husband at the Braves game when Phil Niekro pitched his last game before retiring. We have taken our girls to both Atlanta and Gwinnett Braves games, and would love to go again. Coolray Field is so much closer to Loganville that going downtown, is much easier to get in and out of, and has inexpensive parking and tickets. It's a great way to spend a summer night! Pick me, please!!!

I enjoy spending time with my friends cheering the Gwinnett Braves, especially on a summer afternoon, outside, when the weather's amazing!

I know that we are just like alot of other familes from around the Gwinnett Braves area...but we are a family that cannot afford alot of family outtings. We have twin boys that live and breath baseball and have both pitched to the Gwinnett Braves pitcher and catcher. That was a moment that we will never forget. Being able to take them to a game that is pretty much down the street and watching something they love.....not having to worry about the cost. Being on a one income family....family outings are hard to come by.

We have 4 boys and 4 girls so, sometimes going to see a baseball game is an affordable way to get out and enjoy something outside of the home.. as so far two of our boys have played baseball and enjoy the sport we would love to go see the gwinnett braves.
Kim Roberto May 03, 2012 at 07:52 PM
Would love to win these tickets. Have not been to a GBraves game yet. This would give us a break to go!

Well, I have never been to a live game, but have always envisioned myself with my 4 children. I would be humbled for the experience as my oldest child will have a birthday that week, would be a great present.

We love Gwinnett Braves because minor leagues try harder. There's always good seating, and it's not too big and hectic to walk around the stadium while watching the game. The games are higher scoring, and the traffic isn't bad at all. And you can get Tomahawk beer, which is only sold in Braves stadiums!

I look forward to baseball season every year. Going to the ball park and smelling the fresh cut grass, the hot dogs cooking and popcorn popping and having an ice cold Coca-Cola is the best feeling/experience in the world. My fiance and I have never been to Coolray Field and have talked about trying to catch a game there. Winning the tickets would be a great release from all of this stressful wedding planning.
Micki May 08, 2012 at 12:09 PM

We would love to go to a Gwinnett Braves game! We have a 10 year old son that is interested in baseball. Our 7 year old daughter just passed away in April, and we have had to mainly focus on her for the last 7 years. We are trying to focus on our son now!

Baseball was always a a favorite at my house growing up. The braves were my dads favorite! Would love to honor his memory by going to a gwinnett braves game!!
cindy May 08, 2012 at 12:37 PM
My husband and I have been wanting to see the Gwinnett Braves play since the stadium opened. Our kids have gone numerous times but we have not had the chance to go yet. Winning the tickets would give us that opportunity!!

My 7 yr old son and soon to be 3 yr old son are die hard baseball fans. They both started playing at 2 as soon as they could pick a bat up and they are naturals. My 7 yr old has growth hormone deficiency and looks like he is about 4, but he has the heart of a lion. When he steps on the field to play people are pretty amazed. Because of his size they don't expect so much in a small package. He never gives up and is so caring. His little brother wants to be just like him. Baseball is in their hearts and in their blood. My daughter just fell in love with softball after years of soccer. We all love the Gwinnett Braves games, they are full of family fun things and the kids love being so close to a "real game" I know they dream of playing on the "big" field one day with all of their heros they get to watch right now

Baseball is a time-honored tradition where every live pitch, smack of a glove or crack of a bat floods my senses with memories of moments shared alongside loved ones separated now by distance or astral plane. An evening flight over the Heartland, revealing the diamond glow of rural ballfields offers the most assuring comfort that, as Americans, we're still on the right track.
