LHS Red Devils Take on Starr's Mill in a Double Header in Third Round of the Playoffs

The games will be played Tuesday, May 14 at Starr's Mill.

The Loganville High School Red Devil baseball team heads into the next round of the Georgia High School Association's Class AAAA State Baseball Championship playoffs Tuesday, the No. 1 team in Georgia with the No. 1 outfielder draft pick in Clint Frazier, according to maxpreps.

The Loganville Red Devils will play a double-header at Starr’s Mill in the third round of the post season in an attempt to make it through to the final and take the title for the second year in a row. The 2012 Loganville Red Devils won the 2012 GHSA AAAA Baseball Championship.

Currently ranked as the No. 1 outfielder in the draft pick, Maxpreps reported that “some see Frazier as a Mike Trout-like talent who is ready to play at the big league level. He is one of the national leaders in home runs with 16.” Maxpres also reports that most mock drafts have Frazier going somewhere in the top five.
