Gwinnett Braves Have Final 2012 Homestand

Baseball and more will be on display at Coolray for the final time this season.

The Gwinnett Braves have their final homestand for 2012 from Aug. 20-30, and there will be action besides baseball.

On the field, Ernesto Mejia is attempting to become the third straight G-Brave to win the International League Rookie of the Year award (after Freddie Freeman in 2010 and Julio Teheran in 2011). Mejia has 24 home runs, 87 RBI and 140 hits.

The G-Braves are 59-71 on the season after Sunday's 13-10 victory at Durham.
