Plan on participating in the Run for Kids 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs in Monroe and Social Circle on Saturday, May 26. The 5K is a road course and the fun run is a paved trail through the park. The race is open to all ages including walkers. No pets will be allowed. This race is a qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race.
The race will leave from Felker Park at the Stevens Boys and Girls Club in Monroe. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. Race day registration is $20. The fun run will begin at 7:45 a.m. followed by the 5K at 8 a.m.
