Be the Boss of You Breast Cancer Horse Ride

On October 6, 2012, Boss Brothers Country Store will host our 3rd Annual Be the Boss of You Breast Cancer Horse Ride. This years ride will be held at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers.

All proceeds from this event go directly to The Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University for breast cancer research.
This annual celebration began in 2010 memorializing Boss Brothers' 10th Anniversary in business in Walton County. Susan Boss wanted to give something back to the community that had been so supportive thru the years. . . . thus, "Be the Boss of You" was born, reminding women to take time out of their busy lives in order to have pre-cancerous screening performed.

Since that time, the 1st Saturday in October has been reserved by many as the "pink weekend" of sisterhood, horses and good times. Together, so far, we have raised almost $40,000. In 2011, participation continued to grow beyond the fences of Walton County; donations came in from coast to coast, and the bonds we made have carried over into our everyday lives, touching the hearts of many. The love and support shown to and through our own fighters and survivors lends strength and tender support to the families of those who lost their battle, but will never be forgotten.
