Viewfinder: WGHS Graduating Class of 2012

On Saturday, May 19, 2012, for just the second time since opening in 2009, Walnut Grove High School held Commencement Exercises on Warrior Field.

For just the second time ever, in Walton County held Commencement Exercises for a graduating class. There were 205 seniors in the WGHS graduating class of 2012. Joseph N Kekoolani was WGHS's 2012 Valedictoria and Eric Dalcota Wise was Salutatorian. A special award was given to graduating senior Brian Pearson for 13 years of perfect attendance, never missing a single day of school since kindergarten.

It was also an emotional graduation for WGHS students and faculty as , the student who was critcally injured in a car accident over spring break, was released from the hospital in time to graduate.
