Viewfinder: LHS Graduating Class of 2012

Wearing the school colors of red and white, more than 400 seniors graduated from Loganville High School on May 18, 2012.

's Graduating Class of 2012 received their diplomas at Red Devil Stadium Friday night after being serenaded by a song specifically written for them by up-and-coming country singer and fellow-graduate The commencement exercises were "bitter-sweet" for , who also will not be returning to the halls of LHS in the fall. Franklin moves up to the position of Assistant Superintendent of Facilities in the new school year. He will be replaced by who takes over the reigns as LHS principal beginning with the 2013.

LHS Valedictorian for 2012 is Megan Jane Elliot, daughter of Mark and Cindy Elliott. The recipient of several scholarships, Megan will be attending Patrick Henry College in Virginia in the fall. She intends to major in Government, with a focus in American Politics and Policy.

LHS Salutatorian for 2012 is Kyle Matthew Baker, son of Michael and Reba Baker. Kyle will be attending Georgia Tech in the fall, majoring in a yet undecided engineering degree.
