South Gwinnett's JROTC Train for National Raider Challenge

Around 30 cadets trained at Stone Mountain on Saturday, July 14.

Sgt. Christopher Diaz, army instructor for the South Gwinnett High School Army JROTC program, led around 30 cadets as they trained for the National Raider Challenge coming up in November.  Five Raider challenges will take place during the school year.

A Raider Team usually consists of 10 cadets that compete with other local high schools.

The cadets ran 4.21 miles up and down the mountain, then constructed a rope bridge that each cadet crossed.
