So many ways to catch a little holiday spirit!

December 5th – 13th - GSMST Hosts First Annual Festival of Trees

, 970 McElvaney Ln, Lawrenceville, GA, $1

The GSMST Chapter of the National Art Honor Society hosts the first annual Festival of Trees. This event will take place in the atrium of the school and features Christmas trees designed by local artists and designers. The trees will be judged in a competition and then auctioned for charity, with all proceeds benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. You may view the trees during normal school operating hours.

This special event will feature a GSMST Talent Competition on Dec. 9. Prior to the contest the public tree voting will take place as well as an auction for donated wreaths.

December 7th – 23rd - Christmas Canteen 2011 at Aurora Theatre

Don't miss Gwinnett's longest running holiday tradition, the Christmas Canteen at the Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville. This special event runs on select dates Nov. 25 through Dec. 23.

Performances are scheduled Wednesday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $30-$40 each and Wednesday matinees are scheduled for Dec. 7 and Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. tickets to these two shows are $20.
