Gwinnett Schools Read for the Record

More than two million people across the country participated in the 2011 "Read for the Record." Last year Gwinnett County set a new world record as the largest school district to take part.

More than two million people read the same story across the country on Thursday. They were taking part in to bring attention to the early education achievement gap. 

In Lawrenceville, Llama Llama Red Pajama to elementary school students on October 6th. Beiser, wearing her own red pajamas, visited each of the elementary schools in the Lawrenceville city limits and read to a class.
