Dreams of Back-To-Back Championships Come To An End

Grayson Rams finish the 2012 Season with a disappointing 28-10 loss to North Gwinnett.

Grayson finishes the season 10-2-0 with their stunning Friday night loss to North Gwinnett in the Class AAAAAA playoffs.

Beginning their season nationally ranked as No. 2, the Rams went into the game favored to make their way to an opportunity for a 2nd Championship. Experiencing an unprecedented 8 fumbles and 13 penalties, Grayson found themselves on the receiving end of far too many kick-offs throughout the evening.

North Gwinnett proved themselves to be a worthy opponent. Capitalizing on the turnovers the Bulldogs dominated the 2nd half of the game for a 28-10 win over the Rams. They advance to face Lovejoy in the regional finals.

Though a 2nd Championship ring isn't the result of this season, congratulations to Mickey Conn's Rams for another great season of football.
