Bryana Ashley Barber of Loganville Helps Dominican Community With Clemson University Group

Student joined with 12 other Clemson University students to build a home in the Las Charcas community.

Bryana Ashley Barber of Loganville traveled to the Dominican Republic with 12 other Clemson University students during the winter break to build a home in the Las Charcas community.

The group of fraternity and sorority members provided the funding and labor to construct a safe, affordable, concrete-block home that ensures safety from hurricanes. The students interacted closely with local families and community members to experience Dominican culture while helping those in need.

Barber is a Senior majoring in Civil Engineering.
