Walton County Student Count Tops Projection

The is reporting that as at Aug. 26, 2011, there were 13,296 students enrolled in schools in the Walton County Public School system. This is 64 students more than the projected enrollment of 13,232 and 487 more than the 12,809 enrolled on the first day of school.

In the Gwinnett County Public School system there were 162,589 students enrolled at the last count on Sept. 7, which is 130 more than original predictions.

In Loganville area schools, the following number of students were enrolled in the WCPS system for the 2011-2012 school year as at Aug. 26 compared to the count in the 8th month of the 2010-2011 school year.
