But festive all the same. Grayson's limited edition Christmas ornament depicts the city seal and rendition of Main Street.

Barbara Hinkle, Director of the , has unveiled the City's Limited Edition Ornament which is now on sale at the center and at City Hall for $8 each.

The ornament depicts the  City Seal on one side and the Historic Downtown on the other.

“These beautiful ornaments are the perfect gift for friends, family, employees, or for your own enjoyment,” Hinkle said. She also predicts that the will soon become a “cherished keepsake and heirloom.”

Grayson’s Art & History Center just had their Christmas in July sale but keeps a stock of collectable ornaments year-round. Along with a beautiful array of keepsake gifts and the Historic Cookbook, there are teas and homemade jams and jellies. The A&H Center has been redecorated inside to  better showcase the relics of Grayson’s history on display there.

The next Open House will be on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will feature new fall decor and early Halloween items.  Hinkle said, “There will be outside tables filled with bargains of all sorts.”
