More Severe Storms Possible

Gwinnett and Walton counties in area that could be in the line of fire.

The National Weather Service is warning about another possible round of severe weather this afternoon and tonight. Both Walton and Gwinnett counties are again in the possible line of fire.

A hazardous weather outlook issued at 5:15 a.m., for north and central Georgia warns of the possibility of isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms later this afternoon and on into the night. The primary hazard will be frequent cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds to 60 mph and locally heavy rain. North Georgia is the most likely to be hit with scattered strong storms with isolated storms possible in central Georgia.
