Loganville Roadside Barbecue Blamed for Food Poisoning

Health Inspectors stopped Audrey's Produce Market on Highway 20 from selling barbecue Friday after complaints of food poisoning.

The Walton Tribune reported that Audrey’s Produce Market on Highway 20 in Loganville was instructed to stop selling barbecue plates on Friday after people complained the food made them sick.

A spokesperson from the Northeast Health District out of Athens reportedly said the stand was permitted to sell uncut produce but not prepared meats. The stand stopped selling the barbecue after the visit from health inspectors. No direct proof was reportedly found to be responsible for any food poisoning.
