The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Gwinnett, Walton and surrounding counties, as dangerous fire conditions are expected this afternoon and evening.

Low relative humidities, low fuel moisture levels and gusty winds are expected to create a fire danger into the evening.

These counties are still under a burn ban, which ends Saturday, Oct. 1, so residents should not be burning outdoors.
