A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for several counties in Georgia, including Walton and Gwinnett Counties. This remains in effect until 5:15 p.m. today and specifically includes, among others, the cities of Loganville, Grayson and Walnut Grove.
At 4:12 p.m. National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds, up to 60 mph.
