Grayson Night at Gwinnett Braves

A Grayson crowd enjoys the Braves 6-1 win over Chiefs at Tuesday's game.

With a first pitch by Grayson’s Mayor Jim Hinkle, team line-ups finalized by honorary trainer Jamie Dempsey - President of the  - and the National anthem sung by the Grayson Community Choir, the Braves took the field to wear down the Chiefs in Tuesday’s game. With most of the runs coming in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings, it was a game well played for the Grayson crowd who stayed until the final out.

In true family fun tradition of Minor League Baseball, the entertainment between innings included free pizzas, lottery balls, Sumo wrestlers and an audience RickRoll.

Mayor Hinkle, who ate his Georgia Dog (a foot-long with lots of condiments) while the audience viewed a brief Grayson movie, showed true form and years of practice leading section 113 in the Tomahawk Chop.

The promotion was open to anyone who wished to take advantage of the pricing and seats and many organizations based in Grayson bought blocks of tickets for their members and friends to enjoy the evening. Among those were the , , , Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce and the .
