Beat the Summer Heat with Grayson's Christmas in July

In the heat of mid summer, Grayson Arts & History Center is giving a sneak peak at what it has to offer for a cool Christmas in 2012.

The Grayson Arts & History Center will have its 8th Annual Christmas in July on Saturday, July 28.

"Elves, bears, mooses, Santas, snowmen and beautiful angels are awaiting your arrival for a fun filled day. From Christmas past to Christmas present, the History Center is filled with themed decorated trees, ornaments, wreaths and gift items to inspire you and give yu a "sneak peak" at new Christmas ideas," said Barbara Hinkle, director of the Grayson Arts & History Center. "Come join us to see our collection of Jim Shore angels and Santas, Radco handblown glass ornaments, Dept. 56 collectile ornaments and a couple of 36" standing Old World Santas."

Hinkle said vendors will be outside on the porch and in the gazebo showcasing their wares. The Grayson Arts & History Center is located at 2070 Rosebud Road (adjacent to the City Park) in Grayson. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
