A New Day In Loganville - New Councilmen Take Office

The new councilmen were sworn in at the Loganville City Council meeting Thursday.

At the conclusion of any old business left over from 2011, the Loganville City Council said goodbye to outgoing councilmen Wendell Geiger and Jerry Price and the new councilmen were sworn in.

Taking the oath of office were incumbent Councilman Dan Curry who was successful in his re-election bid and newly elected Councilmen Skip Baliles and Mike Jones. Loganville Municipal Judge Brad Brownlow administered the oath of office for all three councilman.

The only order of business for the new council was to elect a vice mayor and Councilman Dan Curry was unanimously elected by the council to hold that office for 2012.
