Wreck Stalls Traffic for Two Hours in Loganville

The incident occurred early Tuesday evening at the intersection of Center Hill Church Road and Georgia Highway 20.

A two-vehicle wreck in Loganville stalled traffic for two hours early Tuesday evening (Sept. 3). 

According to Georgia State Patrol and eye witnesses, the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Center Hill Church Road and Georgia Highway 20  A silver Honda on Center Hill Church Road pulled out in front of a large service truck heading toward Loganville on Georgia Highway 20. 

The driver of the Honda was transported to Clearview Regional Medical Center in Monroe for treatment. The severity of her injuries are unknown as of Tuesday evening. She was cited for failing to yield while turning left.

Local traffic was stopped in both directions on Georgia Highway 20 for an an hour and a half, but it took more than two hours to get the intersection to open again. Georgia State Patrol and the Walton County Sherriff’s Office both worked the incident.
