Walton Sheriff's Calls: Outstanding Warrants, Trespassing, Pot Arrest

Zone 1
Vehicle Accident – An accident occurred on Hwy 138 between a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. The accident was handled by the Georgia State Patrol.
 
Arrest – Paul Drown was arrested on Providence Lane for multiple outstanding warrants out of Gwinnett County.
 
Zone 3
Arrest – Chad Campbell was arrested for an outstanding warrant after Walton County deputies responded to a dispute on Hwy 186.
 
Zone 5
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Nicholsville Rd. at Fannie Thompson Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and registration. No arrests were made during the safety check.
 
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Piney Grove Rd. at Etchison Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and registration. No arrests were made during the safety check.
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Ivey Drive in the June Ivey Springs subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
Zone 6
Damage – The lock on a gate located at a business on Hwy 20 was reportedly tampered with. Extra patrol was requested.
 
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Gum Creek Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and registration. No arrests were made during the safety check.
 
Zone 7
Trespassing – Subjects were observed trespassing on Church Way. Extra patrol is requested.
 
Arrest – During a traffic stop, Kenneth Cleveland was cited on Old Highway 138 in reference to possession of marijuana.
