Truck Crashes Into Lawrenceville Shopping Plaza, Driver Dead
Police are looking into why the Wednesday morning accident happened.
Gwinnett County Police say a tractor trailer lost control and crashed into a strip mall at 1195 Scenic Highway Wednesday morning.
At about 10:15am, the driver was headed northbound on Scenic Highway in Lawrenceville just north of Essex Drive, according to GCPD Cpl. Edwin Ritter.
The driver was pronounced dead.

It is not yet known if the driver suffered from a medical condition or if the driver died from the accident or another reason.
No one else was injured.
