Police Arrest Triple Homicide Suspect in New Orleans

Robert Bell was wanted in connection to a September shooting that took place in the Snellville area.

The suspect from September's triple homicide in the Snellville area was taken into custody in New Orleans on Thursday (Oct. 24). 

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Unit and the U.S. Marshall’s Service developed intelligence on a possible location for Bell in the Louisiana city, according to a news release from Gwinnett County Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith. 

The local fugitive task force in New Orleans checked the location, a homeless shelter, and found Bell. He led law enforcement officials on a brief foot chase before being taken into custody.
