I know Lisa. What a terrible way to start July. So sad.

Until the law in GA is tougher on drunk drivers, people will continue to be the victims of DUI offenders.

This story as reported by the Gwinnett Post and other news outlets is not correct. These girls were turning out of the subdivision and were t-boned by the boys in the other car who were clearly under the influence of something- not sure it was alcohol. And it was the driver who was killed, not the passenger.

I am wondering about this report. From the looks of the car how could the drive have survied the accident in the gold car?

I think that is why the police are holding off on the official report. There are conflicting reports from the news organizations so the only official confirmation from authorities at the moment is that there was an accident and a fatality. I will update as soon as I get the official report.
