Sheriff's Reports: Stolen Bike, Disorderly Conduct, DUI

Zone 1

  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Ella Springs Court. After arriving, it was found that a canine inside the residence had activated the alarm.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hightower Trail at Geoffrey Lane. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check. 
Zone 2
  • Extra Patrol – Residents in the area off Sweet Briar Rd. requested extra patrol in reference to house parties getting out of control.
  • Theft – A bicycle was taken from a residence on Thurman Baccus Rd. The bicycle was reportedly taken by a white female with blonde hair.
  • Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Raegan Court in the Taylor Woods subdivision. 
Zone 3
  • Arrest – Bryan Litten and Audrey Litten were arrested on Brookshire Court for disorderly conduct.
  • Arrest – Stephen Hicks was arrested on Magnolia Way in the Brentwood subdivision in reference to an outstanding warrant.
Zone 4
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 11 @ New Joy Church. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Several arrests were made during the safety check.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Walton Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Several arrests were made during the safety check.
  • Vehicle Accident – Rex Boynton was arrested for DUI after crashing his vehicle then leaving the scene on foot.
  • Arrest – Michael Norman was arrested during a traffic stop on Parker Drive.
  • Suspicious Person – A subject was found blocking the driveway at a residence on Mt. Vernon Rd.
Zone 5
  • Theft – Multiple tools were taken from a residence on Ridgewood Rd. The tools were found in a pawn shop in Gwinnett County. A suspect has been named in the theft.
  • Theft – Items were reportedly taken from a business off Nicholsville Rd. Suspects have been named in the theft.
  • Theft Report/Arrest – A theft was reported at a residence on Grady Smith Rd. the complainant, Matthew Atkins, was arrested in reference to an outstanding warrant and drug related charges.
  • Extra Patrol – Residents requested extra patrol in the Double Springs Place area in reference to solicitors going door to door to sell roofing material.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Piney Grove Rd. @ Summit Court. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Rd. @ Loth Wages Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.
  • Vehicle Accident – Rebecca Bankston was arrested for DUI after crashing her vehicle then leaving the scene.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Ga 20 @ Ivory Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Several arrests were made during the safety check.
Zone 6
  • Suspicious Persons – Two reports were made in reference to subjects ringing doorbells at residences on Sleepy Hollow in Westchester.
  • Burglary Attempt – Unknown persons reportedly made an attempt to break into an outbuilding behind a residence on Logans Bluff.
Zone 7
  • Soliciting – Extra patrol was requested in reference to subjects trying to sell roofing material on Lakeside Blvd. in Woodlake.
  • Theft – A white male and a black female were seen at the Cedar Lake Golf Club off S Sharon Church Rd. The couple was reportedly acting suspiciously.
Information:
Runaway Juvenile, Keeli Sewell, was located in the Macon area. The juvenile was transported back to Walton County by Walton County Sheriff Deputies.
