Sheriff's Office: Stolen Furniture, Speeding Dump Trucks, Fireworks Set Off

Zone 1
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Harmony Church Rd. at Harmony Elementary School. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Suspicious Person – A suspicious person was observed tampering with a mailbox at a residence on Wapakoneta Trail. The subject was observed driving a gold GMC truck.
Arrest – Josh Bumgarner was arrested on Gauntt Rd. for an outstanding warrant.
Zone 2
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 11. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Zone 3
Damage to Property – Damage was made to a fence at a residence on Laboon Rd.
Disabled Vehicle – An inoperable vehicle was abandoned on Hwy 78 at Jim Daws Rd.
Vehicle Accident – A juvenile was involved in an ATV accident on Rock Creek Rd. off Knox Chapel Rd.
Disturbance – Fireworks were heard in the Miranda Drive area.
Extra Patrol – Dump trucks were observed speeding on Sandy Ford Rd. and in the Social Circle Fairplay Rd. area. Extra patrol was requested.
Zone 4
Burglary Report – Walton County deputies observed the backdoor to a vacant residence on Autumn Trace was kicked in.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Helen Drive at Jefferson Drive. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and registration.
Disturbance – Fireworks were heard in the area of Fairview Drive.
Disturbance – Fireworks were heard in the area of Doster Avenue.
Zone 5
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Highlands Blvd. in the Highlands Blvd. subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Theft – A canine was reportedly taken from the backyard of a residence on Morgan’s Ridge Drive.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Maple Creek Avenue. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Loud Music – Loud music was reported in the area of June Ivey Rd.
Disturbance – A loud explosion type noise was heard around the Bullock Trail area.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Market Square in the Charleston Heights subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Dillard Drive at Monroe Elementary School. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Entered Auto – An iPhone was taken from a vehicle located on Bay Creek Church Rd.
Damage to Property – The front windshield to a vehicle was busted while parked at a residence on Forest Court.
Entered Auto – Speakers were taken from a vehicle on Forest Court in the Forest Ridge subdivision.
Damage to Property – A vehicle was damaged while parked on Oakmont Way.
Zone 6
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Gum Creek Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and registration.
Juvenile Problem – Juveniles were observed trespassing at the Rock Quarry on Anslee Lakes.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 78. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Extra Patrol – A truck with loud mufflers was reportedly driving around Green Rd. and McCullers Rd. causing a disturbance.
Arrest – Janis Jackson was arrested for DUI while driving in the Zone 6 area.
Vehicle Accident – A vehicle accident occurred on Claude Brewer Rd. at Milton Bryan Drive.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Hwy 78. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check Broadnax Mill Rd. at Mill Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and registration. Earl Doran was arrested in reference to an outstanding warrant.
Zone 7
Burglary Report – Furniture was reportedly stolen from a vacant residence on River Bend Rd. A green pickup truck was observed around the property.
