Sheriff's Office Reports: Shooting Firearms on Lovers Lane, Arrests on Outstanding Warrants

Zone 2                 

• Arrest – Norris Belcher was arrested on Harris St. in reference to an outstanding warrant.

Zone 3                 

• Fire Assist – Walton County deputies responded to a structure fire on Laboon Rd. The scene was handled by the Walton County Fire Department.

Zone 4

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Parker Drive in Green Acres. All windows and doors appeared secure.
• Arrest/Suspicious Vehicle – A suspicious vehicle was stopped on Luther Adams Rd. The driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Winder and a passenger was cited for possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

Zone 5

• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Cannon Farm Rd. @ Old Hwy 138. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made during the safety check.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Rd. @ Loth Wagers Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Two arrests were made during the safety check.
• Firearms – The shooting of firearms was reported on Lovers Lane. Contact was made with the person(s) shooting the firearm. The subjects were found to be shooting in a safe manner and safe direction.
• Arrest – Kathy Pugh was arrested on Wagon Trail in reference to an outstanding warrant. 

Zone 6                 

• Entering Auto – On Broadnax Mill Rd., a vehicle car door was found open after the alarm was set off. Nothing appeared to be taken from the vehicle.

Zone 7                 

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Walnut Grove High School. All doors were checked and found secure.
• Damage to Property – Alex Herring was arrested on Cannon Farm Rd. in reference to Criminal Trespass.
