Sheriff's Office Reports: Obscene Phone Calls, Poisoned Pet, Golf-Course Burglary

Zone 1
  • Burglary – A burglary report was made on Hwy 138 at the Shell store off Atha Rd.

Zone 2
  • Suspicious Vehicle – A vehicle was seen laying drag in the area of Walnut Drive. The vehicle was described as an orange in color Saturn SUV.
 
Zone 3
  • Harassment – An unknown male subject was reportedly making obscene telephone calls to a complainant on Laura Drive in the Mountain Ridge subdivision.

Zone 4
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Apalachee Trail in Apalachee Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.
  • Arrest – Angela Gross was arrested on Hwy 11 @ Mt. Creek Church Rd. for possession of crack cocaine and an outstanding warrant.

Zone 5
  • Arrest – Richard Casper was arrested on Hwy 11 @ Smile Mart for an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County.
  • Damage – A report was made on Roscoe Davis Rd. in reference to a canine being poisoned by ethylene glycol.

Zone 7
  • Burglary – The Bear Creek Golf Course Clubhouse was entered and money was taken from the office. Extra patrol was requested.
  • Burglary – A vacant home was entered on Harris Drive. A microwave and an oven range were taken from the residence.
