Sheriff's Office Reports: Fatal Traffic Accident, Neighbor Dispute, Yelling About Nukes

This report is from the Walton County Sheriff's Office, April  16.

• Dispute – An ongoing dispute between neighbors was reported on Hickory Nut Way.

• Vehicle Accident (Fatality) – A subject delivering newspapers for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, struck a tree on Hwy 78 and overturned.

• Fraud – A subject on Jim Daws Rd. received a fraudulent debit card in the mail.

• Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Mt. Vernon Rd. and Ike Stone Rd. in reference to the speed trailer.

• Entering Auto – An unlocked vehicle was entered while at a residence on Fox Hound Trace. A purse was reportedly taken from the vehicle.
• Extra Patrol – An attempt to pry open a window at the Providence Clubhouse was reported. Extra patrol was requested.
• Patient – A subject was outside his residence on Roscoe Davis Rd. yelling about a nuclear bomb. The subject was escorted to Clearview Medical for evaluation.

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Honey Lane in Cedar Springs subdivision. The alarm was accidentally set off.
• Theft – Lawn equipment was taken from a shed at a residence off Center Hill Church Rd.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Guthrie Crossing in the Guthrie Crossing subdivision. The alarm was accidentally set off by a canine in the residence.
