Sheriff's Office: Man Sleeping in Car Also Had Meth

Zone 1
 
Alarm - Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm off Sterling Water Drive in Lake Shore Estates Subdivision. The premises were found to be secure.
 
Zone 2
 
Arrest – Sandy Clay was arrested on a Probation Violation warrant without incident off Dove Landing.
 
Zone 3
 
Identity Theft – A complainant off Highway 11 reported unknown persons tried to change her and her husband’s on-line accounts.
 
Identity Theft – A complainant off Windfield Place reported a suspect who lives in Florida has his Social Security Number and address information.
 
Fraud – A complainant off Queens Cemetery Road reported a fraud case.
 
Zone 4
 
Safety Check – A safety check was conducted at Walton Road and John Deere Road.
 
Safety Check – A safety check was conducted at Bold Springs Road and Bentley Road.
 
Prowler – A complainant off Mt. Vernon Road reported someone in their yard. No contact was made with anyone in the yard.
 
Arrest – A complaint of a subject sleeping in his vehicle off Waverly Way in the parking lot lead to the arrest of Martin Bankston when a large amount of methamphetamine, along with drug related objects and a small amount of marijuana were found in his vehicle.
 
Burglary – A complainant off Parklake Court reported a tiller was taken from a shed and pawned by a known suspect. Suspect promised to return tiller later in the evening.
 
Zone 5
 
Vehicle Accident – One vehicle accident versus residence reported on Double Springs Road. Worked by GSP.
 
Burglary – Three unknown juveniles made entry through unsecured garage door of vacant residence off Timber Trace Road and were seen exiting the front door carrying a lava lamp.  When confronted by the neighbors they left the items on the front porch and ran into the woods towards Bullock Bridge Road.
 
 
Zone 6
 
Theft – A complainant off Highway 78 reported his landscape trailer was taken.
 
Safety Check – A safety check was conducted at Miller Bottom Road and South Sharon Church Road.
 
Alarm - Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm off Highway 78 at Eagles Recycling. The premises were found to be secure.
 
Alarm - Walton County Deputies responded to an alarm off Highway 78 at Premier Tree. The premises were found to be secure.
 
Safety Check – A safety check was conducted off Emmett Still Road and Centerhill Church Road. William Thompson was arrested for DUI.
 
Vehicle Accident – A one vehicle accident with injury occurred at Miller Bottom and Moon Road.

Vehicle Accident – A two vehicle accident with injuries occurred at Highway 138 and Coggins Road.
