UPDATE: Rollover Accident Injures One in Loganville

An accident over the weekend on Highway 78 in Loganville resulted in one person being injured and parts of the road shut down for a period of time.

UPDATED AT 9:26 a.m. June 25.

The driver that was injured was Sarah Brooke Morris, age 28, from Winston-Salem, NC.  She was traveling east on 78 and lost control of the vehicle as she was changing lanes.  Her vehicle traveled through the median and overturned in the westbound lane.  She was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center by ambulance. Per Georgia State Patrol

Georgia State Patrol reported that a Subaru Legacy left the road on Highway 78 at Tom Brewer Road on Saturday afternoon, hitting the guardrail and flipping over. GSP spokesman Gordy Wright said the Computer Administration Dispatch reported one injury. Witnesses said that Highway 78 was closed for a time. Wright said the computer did not mention any call for a helicopter.
