Police Blotter from the Loganville Police Department

The following arrest information was supplied by the Loganville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrests were reported by the for the week ending July 7. 

July 1 

  • A 32-year-old woman from Loganville was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after hiding under a trailer when police stopped by to serve a warrant on her boyfriend. She was transported to the Loganville Police Department, booked and released after police had to coax her out from under the trailer. Her boyfriend turned himself in while she was being processed.

July 2

  • A 19-year-old Loganville man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce) and possession of alcohol by a minor and two 21-year-old men were charged with possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce) following a traffic stop. The police officer reported seeing a vehicle turn into an undeveloped property and turn off the lights. When he made contact, he reported a smell of alcohol and marijuana coming from the three men in the car. A substance, believe to be marijuana, was found and the 19-year-old tested positive for alcohol. All three men allegedly claimed to not know whose marijuana it was that was located under the front passenger seat. The vehicle was towed and all three men arrested and transported to the Walton County jail.
  • A 19-year-old Loganville man was arrested and charged with reckless driving after he was clocked driving at 45 – 50 mph through the parking lot in front of Fox Pizza. He allegedly claimed to only be traveling at 20 or 25 mph. He was booked at the LPD before being released on a copy of the charge.
  • A 26-year-old Loganville man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police were dispatched to a residence regarding a fight in progress. A woman reported her boyfriend had become out of control after getting intoxicated and had banged on her trailer, knocking things off the shelf. He then allegedly went to a neighbor and began arguing with her. When her friend intervened, he pushed her out of the way in an attempt to get to the friend. He was arrested and transported to the Walton County jail. 

July 5

  • A 22-year-old Loganville woman was arrested and charged with family violence - battery, after she reportedly attacked her boyfriend because he wouldn’t eat the food she’d cooked. She is reported to have struck him in the eye after she thought he was going to knock the cup of liquid out of her hand to prevent her throwing it at him. She was arrested and transported to the Walton County jail.
