Police Ask For Public's Help In Identifying Armed Robbers

Men are believed to be responsible for several robberies in the area, including two in Norcross and one in Snellville.

Gwinnett police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three unknown men who have robbed several Metro PCS stores, at least three of the robberies occuring in Gwinnett in September. Video footage is available from some of these robberies.

According to a press release from Gwinnett County Police, two unknown black males robbed the Metro PCS on Jimmy Carter Blvd. in Norcross on Sept. 1 and then the one on Singleton Road, also in unincorporated Norcross, on Sept. 7. In both cases, one of the men distracted employees with a request for help with a phone before the second one produced a gun and jumped over the counter. They robbed the store and then fled. In the first instance, surveillance footage revealed a third suspect outside in a getaway car.

Police believe it is likely the same suspects who are responsible for an armed robbery at the Metro PCS store in Snellville Wednesday.
